Comrade Fred Di Bartolo  2008

     Mr. Di Bartolo, a former Director within the Director G e n e r a l Communications, Engineering and Maintenance Division, Chief  Engineering and Maintenance, Assistant Deputy Minister Materiel, National Defence Headquarters. Fred was the first member of Branch 641 to pass away. His death was sudden and unexpected and was a tragic lost to his wife and their family.

     Fred was chairman of  the Royal Canadian Youth Education Project  in Branch 641 and he was very committed to the Public Speaking program and contest.

    The Branch designed a very impressive shield in memory of comrade Fred, which is presented annually to the seniors winning speaker and recognizes  his contribution to our country, our fellow service personnel and our Branch. 

     We will Remember Him!
