He also  joined the Lions Club about that same time,  where he had a distinguished career of Voluntarism, rising to become the District Governor of District A8, located  in the west island region of  Montreal, QC.

     He continued both of these lifetime commitments when he moved to reside with his daughter and her family in Barrhaven. He was a proud member of Barrhaven Branch 641 and We Will Remember Him!
